Do you know Eskimos have over 50 different words for snow? They have a name for wet snow, hard snow etc... It is because snow is one of the most important things in their lives. Without it, i guess they would not be able to survive.

Then why is it that we only have one name for the word Love? Does it mean that love is not as important as we think it is in our lives?

Love can be so very beautiful, and so very complicated too.
It can bring about the feeling of security, warmth, protection.
And it too can bring about hate, pain.

Perhaps the love which we take for granted the most is the one from our parents. We get so caught up with our lives that we do not even stop to thank them for the allowance, or the dinner, or for driving us to school. Heck. i think in our asian culture, saying ' i love you' is awkward enough to kill us!!

Then its the love from God.
I am guilty of just praying to Him when i need Him.
I am guilty of loving someone else and putting him before God.
I am guilty of procrastinating quiet time.
I am guilty and filled with shame.
But God is so merciful enough to forgive and love me all over again.
So i do not want to take His love for granted anymore.
I still remembered what Suhui Jie said last year during one of the cells i had in foolz. She said that If you cannot handle a relationship with God, who is perfect in everyway, how can you handle a relationship with a person, who is imperfect?
er.. something like that.

and just thinking about bestfriend make me feel that people do take the love from their boyfriends/girlfriends for granted too! I am guilty of that too. But i think bestfriend is super poor thing. cannot do the things that he wants to, cannot talk or hang out with people he wants to. Gosh. is loving someone forcing them to do things the way you want it to be? hell NO! then is giving in and forsaking what you love an act of expressing your love? ehs. that i do not know.

But i do know that without love - be it from God/mommy/daddy/friends/boyfriends/girlfriends
i am sure life would be meaningless.
